Elaine, Li, and Bee (Li's little sister) played with fabric scraps this past December. Bee eventually turned into a Fabric Scrap Mummy.

Our Stitch and Bitch quilt group was started in 1990 in Silver Spring, Maryland. We started out as a group of 4 women who worked for a consulting firm with a very visible glass ceiling. We've long ago left that consulting firm and have added more members to our group. We still get together once a month for a great time of bitching and stitching.

Isn't this cute! You would not believe how much fun you can have with fabric strips without even sewing!
On Presidents' Day, we finished 4 strippy blocks with some of these strips. I think after we make 12 blocks, we can make a small quilt, since the blocks are 8" finished.
