Our Stitch and Bitch quilt group was started in 1990 in Silver Spring, Maryland. We started out as a group of 4 women who worked for a consulting firm with a very visible glass ceiling. We've long ago left that consulting firm and have added more members to our group. We still get together once a month for a great time of bitching and stitching.

look what you can do if you are unemployed
Here is what my niece Alyssa has made in the last 1.5 months! She also sent photos of the pieced backs, but I did not include them here. I am thinking that she should go to a machine quilting class!

Any advice on how she can find a quilting group that includes people below age 30 in the Pasadena area?
Just think if she started machine quilting, we could probably keep her in business between us.
